The dishes included local specialities like Sauerkraut and potato 'Croketten'. The food is neither good nor bad, hence the title. Whilst we like the location and ambience, some of the staff do come across as being unfriendly and the service can be slow at times even when quiet. Would happily go back for drinks, though...it wouldn't be our first choice in Oberkirch for food.

we visited this old place twice. both of us were supported by some very rude waiters. eating was good, but not amazing. I can't revive this place. it is dark and old and a bit down. maybe this is his charm, but. look elsewhere for a good German experience
very tasty dishes from the region. good that we are back in the next night. prices are quite reasonable and correspond to other local restaurants.
