We've eaten three times in the restaurant last week, the servings are big. The service is friendly and simple, the local rustic and cozy. I had Forelle Müllerin Art, the 2nd time Hip Steak and the 3rd. Red bass everything was perfect. The roast potatoes were great, baked potatoes Legger, now we were not there during the season, but the cook can be his craft. The service was great, our waiter asked if we needed something. My husband liked to try the sprouts, he got a small plate full of sprouts that were not on the bill) so great. Sassnitz himself does not really sleep outside the season, but the food in the guest meal of the sea was great.
The restaurant is located on Sassnitz's beach promenade and has a nice outside terrace overlooking the sea. I had one of their specialty dishes, deep-fried sprats served with fried potatoes and mustard sauce. The fish was super fresh and well-prepared, portions are huge and the price is very resonable at 12,90 Euro.Will definitely return if I happen to be back in Sassnitz!

Fish was very fresh, however the meals are cooked with lots of butter. The waitress was not very friendly, but the great promenade location makes up for the short comings.
