The woman who sat us and our wait person were phenomenal! I wish I remembered their names, but kudos to them. The food was very good. The noise level was a little high, but we enjoyed the glee that a table of women friends seated next to us were experiencing. It just made it a bit harder to hear our table conversation. The whole concept of Gather is one I highly respect and support!
If you like a simple, restrained menu of cocktails, locally grown produce and wood oven pizza and grilled meats such as chicken, you'll love this place. That patio is particularly nice on warmer nights and the inside has a nice open feel. Service was attentive. A great place to gather for families or colleagues. Conveniently located in downtown Berkeley.
we love to gather. their brunch and dinner menu have a tonne vegan options and can also be adjusted vegan. fresh products, mostly organic and great taste profiles for eating. conveniently located in the city of berkeley and very friendly staff.
I used to rank Gather as a top choice place to dine but the experience last night was disappointing. My falafel burger was very dry as was the regular hamburger. The halibut was just OK. We did all enjoy the french fries.
