Being immediately after New Year and early in the week, the restaurant was only moderately busy and comfortably accommodated our party of 8. The service was attentive and the food was good, albeit expensive especially when one adds in side dishes [chips, vegetables etc] each circa £4 to accompany the main courses. My main gripe is that the wine list is expensive, with the cheapest wines at £35 and rapidly rising thereafter for wines that aren't particularly special, which in turn bumps up the service charge.
ambience was made even better by a guy behind us who fell from his chair. What else could you ask for?! eating was great and our waiter (fortunately forgetting his name) was great. very attentive, very nice, very well understandable and also funny! only on the bottom I was really charging the sauce on the steaks is a bit wild and could do with rethinking. other than that, although, very pleasant experience and will be back
This was my first visit to the restaurant for a special occasion. The place looks great from the outside and the food is very high quality though portions could be a little larger (this is a personal note, unimportant). The place is filled with nice staff and has a relaxing vibe all you could want from a restaurant. If you like red meat, this is the place for you (there are great alternatives too like seabass or chicken).
The food was delicious we had steak and truffle pasta. Raving reviews on all dishes. The interior is lovely and so much nicer than shown online. 100% recommend

Service was good, lovely venue over looking the river. The steak quality could have been better, the medium rib eye steak was over cooked.
