Wonderful ice cream, good waffles, coffee, or sip a beer in the middle of the medieval market square. Alsfeld is an amazingly atmospheric little town, definitely worth a short stop to explore old houses - might as well stop at Antonio and relax a bit. Listen to the bell music (12:15 is a suitable one for a lunch break, don't remember other times from the bells schedule...)
Best ice cream ever. Here the ice cream is made in-house and tastes simply delicious. A small but nice ice cream parlor. Antonio simply knows his craft. If you want, you can also order fresh, delicious waffles there, which Anna then prepares freshly. So I can only recommend Gelateria Da Antonio in Alsfeld to everyone.
Gutes Eis aber nichts besonderes, da schmeckt es woanders besser. Die ganzen Bewertungen von wegen freundliches Personal kann ich nicht nachvollziehen, die Chefin ist ja die Unfreundlichkeit in Person, kein Wunder das die Eisdiele bei besten Wetter kaum besucht war... Here there is very good ice cream and the service is always very friendly. Because of the size it is not so crowded and you can eat ice cream in peace. There's a car coming over, but it was already with the noise. Book a table now
Have both the walnut sundae and the cherry sundae they are beautiful around 4.50€ each and worth double that. Sit in this market square watch the world go by and the parking antics opposite.
Among the best icecreams in the world. The icecream Itself is extremely tasty and the different "dishes" are fenomenal!!! If you are in Alsfeld and miss this, it's your loss!!
