This restaurant by the reservoir is definitely worth a visit. The service was excellent, with Billy, the co-owner, his wife, and son serving us at the table. Despite being busy making espresso coffee and chocolate panettone, they still managed to provide great service. The pulled beef brisket Benny we ordered was incredible, earning a 9.5 rating from us - probably the best we've ever had. We will definitely be returning soon.
Went to this little gem in Reservoir while we were looking at properties and was so happy we found it! Loved the ambience, very good food, and the staff were soooo friendly and awesome! Will definitely be back when we go to this area (hard...to find a café with clean eating options) and highly recommended! Best protein smoothie I had apart from the ones I make at home! All the best to the staff and owners!
Wonderful local cafe !! Was visiting relatives around the corner and desperate for breakfast and by chance come across Gellibrand. Great menu , amazing taste, great service and just a brilliant place. The only problem is that how would anyone find it without knowing. Would...strongly recommend if you are in the area to drop by for excellent coffees or breakfast.
The steak sandwiches were fantastic, especially the crispy roasted sourdough. The Wagyu Burger was also delicious, and I was pleasantly surprised by the double patties. The Tuna Steak Special was enjoyable as well. The service was excellent and the chips were especially crisp and fresh. The smoothies were delicious and overall, I had nothing to complain about. Only found this by chance as we knew there was and Aust Post office nearby. Stopped in for brunch and have now been back a few times. My wife likes a strong coffee and you definitely get that here. Specials board changes often and you...get a filling, delicious meal. Stop off for just a coffee and cake if you like.
I was unsure about this place at first glance. The decor was simple and the uncomfortable stools and chairs were not appealing. However, the service was good and the food was excellent. I would definitely consider returning.
Great cafe in inlikely spot. Of great advantage is parking and not overly busy. Good food at good price. Coffee was excellent as was the service. Highly recommended.
