Genghis Cohen - Table reservation

I really like the food here. It's delicious and it's great NYC style Chinese food in LA. But I can't give it 5 stars because the service is terrible and it's expensive like hell. The waiting staff is personally unstoppable. For the takeover, they literally never follow special requests. For example, if I order two egg rolls (bc sie?re so good) I always get one side of the mustard and one side of the sweet sours, although there are two orders and I have requested extra. It irritates me. I paid $20 for egg rolls, could I please get the corresponding number of sauces? I don't usually go here (or order) because the service is so bad. Better.

I've been coming here for many years and I have to say that this new, bright boy named Raul (Security Agent) who works the door, remembered our names and made us feel at home again. He knows what customer service and customer experience is about. It is definitely an enormous advantage for the restaurant!

The Chinese cuisine was delicious, with generous portions served in a cool and inviting atmosphere. Despite a wait for a table, we were eventually seated in a spacious area between two large round family tables, which was slightly odd but we appreciated the staff's effort to accommodate us.

The NY egg roll is a must-have every time! The kitchen could use a bit more efficiency as it took quite a while for our order to arrive, despite the restaurant being empty. Nevertheless, I will definitely return.

Chicken and amazing Hollywood vibe with its own free parking. my family has been here for 30 years and will continue much more. great music and comedy venue also, but separated from restaurant experience
