I really love their pizza and the owner Gennaro is very nice to me. He always treats me like family when ever I go into his restaurant. I do not now why so many people think that he is mean because he is not. He always is looking out for my sister and I when ever we go in and get a slice. I would get a slice of pizza every day if I could. I vote for gennar's pizzaria.
Others have said the owner is rude, he's not. He isn't fake. He won't act extra nice because your a customer. He treats you like friends he sees everyday. He's real, and I for one appreciate that over being fake. Pizza is very similar to what I had in Italy but with a crispy crust that makes it so much better, in my opinion. Good pizza.
My daughter asked Gennaro for some dough. I simply put shaved onions, sea sales and herbs de provence with shaved onions and a sprinkle of crumbled feta. OMG, Gennaro! You are a magician! Such a maestro's crust only exists on the other side of the pond!
Gennaro is always happy to see you. His regular pie is delicious, but the Grandma Pizza is the best in the Northeast as far as I have had!! Everyone I have ever given it to has asked me where I got it and how they could get some.
