*Note: This review is specifically about their Lunar Brunch* **Disappointments:** Unfortunately, I found this year's brunch to be lacking compared to last year's experience. The price has increased, yet the selection has been drastically reduced—nearly cut in half! My reservation was for 2 PM, but they started clearing the food away just 45 minutes later. Despite the restaurant being only about 50% full, the hostess couldn’t accommodate my request to sit at a nearby available two-top because it was already logged in the system. Some of the warm dishes were actually cold, and a few shrimp pieces had an overpowering fishy taste. Additionally, I noticed a disappointing lack of traditional dim...

We came in for the Chinese New Year's buffet at Gunning Palace. Upon check-in, we had somewhat of a difficulty confirming our reservation. The staff operating the front desk had issues confirming our reservation. As we entered, we were seated, and the ambiance and table were beautifully decorated. We had to wait quite a while to get service, but that was OK. The food was pretty spectacular. Aside from that, there were dried-out lamb and sour-faced sushi makers. They had delicious shrimp. Unfortunately, the easy pill crabs were overcooked, and they were stuck to the crab shells. All the other foods were decent, and I was also impressed by the staff cutting the duck.
Went there for the dim sum brunch buffet and it was a big disappointment for the price of $128 per person. There wasn't too much food variety and the quality was just ok for me. There was no split lobsters when I went which was very disappointing. The roast beef was a little tough. The items that I only liked there were the peking duck, sashimi, and king crab legs. Service was good which I can't complain. In my opinion this should be a $60-$70 buffet and not worth the $128. Also, drinks were not even included. You have to pay extra for the regular drinks like soda, juice, ice tea, etc. I would not come back for this dim sum brunch buffet at Genting Palace.
Beautiful atmostphere. A luxurious, modern look with a traditional Chinese decor thrown into the mix. Greeted upon arrival and generally exceptionally friendly service. The food was top notch and the prices were fair (not cheap by any means) for what kind of dishes were coming out. The server didn't come around as frequent as would liked but looked like there was only 1 maybe 2 actual servers while the rest were food runners or assisting only. Would still come back again. Despite the many low ratings, we had a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly, the service was quick, and the food was outstanding. While it's not exactly budget-friendly, there's a McDonald's just a few hundred yards away. After all, this is Vegas!
It was disappointing because they had more selection last year and was cheaper too. So I had high expectations coming into it. I was even raving this brunch to my coworkers on just how exquisite the whole experience was. I hope they step it up next year.
Overall an above average. Both the variety and choice of food item has been trimmed from last year's menu. No more while lobsters on ice, steamed whole fish, and various salad cold plate selections. Quality of the food and service still good.
The food was of exceptional quality, with remarkable attention to detail. The dim sum and hot and sour soup were outstanding. Book a table now
$128.88 Lunar New Year Buffet was awesome. I like Pecking duck, lobster, King crab legs and leg of lamb.
Not worth the price. Not a lot of options compared to other buffets. Wouldn’t

"Service was great, cleanliness was bad the floors were very greasy. The bathrooms where not clean. But the food was good. Open later than most other Korean BBQ and had sushi so that's a plus. The cost was a little pricey but, reasonable considering the amount of appetizers."
