Things change. I used to recommend this pub. The seating was uncomfortable. The food portion was small. Very. Though my coconut curry was quite tasty, my wife's dish was bland. We were not welcomed with a smile and told bluntly that what we had chosen on the menu was, in fact, not available. Normally that information would be given first. Everyone has an off day. I'm hoping that's what it was. I just think it wasn't worth the expense of getting there and eating there. Some people are obsessed with going out. Must have money to burn. This is a fantastic restaurant with a great selection on the menu, all prepared exceptionally well. Expect to spend around £60–70 per person. I highly recommend trying the Sunday Roast!
