Very beautiful and noble place. Drinks are exceptional. Love the decor and the live piano. Starter was the Barratta that was a great choice. Delicious Prosciutto. Entree was a T-bone Steak medium rare, there was more medium, but it was a huge steak and was well spiced. The side of the asparagus with Parmigiana was good. Also ordered the seafood Risotto – it was quite bad. The pasta was extremely bland and tasted as if it was boiled in tap water. Very poor for such a beautiful place.
Without a doubt, this is one of my favorite places in Astoria. Every time I walk in, it feels like I've stepped back into the golden age of cinema. The drinks and food are outstanding, and they even serve bacon as a snack at the bar... BACON! The staff is also fantastic.
Lovely place good food somewhat overpriced. The piano playing was too loud for comfortable conversation. The piano was playing was much more pleasurable last time we ate here.
the personal was so nice and friendly, especially for our 3-year-old son. they brought a ballon for him and he had a fantastic time, which means we had an even better time. Book a table now
Charming little underground bar. Very much a Speakeasy. Excellent service and very well priced for grabbing a late night drink. Fully recommended.
Food took 90 minutes to arrive. Wait staff was inattentive; food was not notable except that portions were not worth the price.
Chopped steak was terrible by wife’s chicken dish was delish...... everything else was great, next time I’ll get a burger.
