We took my Father to Kelso's for lunch for Fathers Day. We tried to book but they do not take bookings for special lunch days. We all got there early and just relaxed with a drink before lunch. A lot of people were coming with...kids and going straight outside to a great area for the kids to play. We ordered our lunch and it came out really quick. I had the Satay prawns which were good but could have been a little warmer. Others in our party had the Tasmanian Salmon with vegies, the Fisherman's Basket, Chicken Kiev. All our these dishes were well received and tasty to eat. This is the second time were have been to Kelso's and both times were worth it and not too expensive at all.
in the past we had beautiful meals in the bistro and especially for events in the outside area. Last night, our meals were either undercooked, overcooked, cold or simply lubricated. a polite comment from feedback to the server was ignored. limited menu, negligible...Member discounted in comparison to other clubs. we are not coming back.
new cater how can qualified chef cours **** like disappointing. last Saturday evening (the new team was there for 2 weeks) the tempura whiting was understated and my mother made sick. my meal of sizzling garlic prawns was the terrible. over boiled... prawns, Bland sauce. complained in the club they only fobbed us off shame on the club
Lovely friendly staff and great atmosphere , good for groups and kids outside however the inside needs improving appearance wise and the two things that are a let down are lack of good quality entertainment live music on weekends is depressing need uplifting bands...you can dance to and the good is below average in quality.

When I first had this, I was amazed! it is really the best darn chili they have ever in this country. I didn't restore this in my home kitchen and this place is 2 hours away from my home. I'd go there to have another bowl! it's so good that I'm struggling about the first time I ever tasted trust them it's great!
as a member of the unit we were disappointed with the new catechians and foods they present. the personal is polite, but if we have commented on the quality of food, they have not commented. the price is expensive no member discounts and...not on their teller to munch.
The experience at this restaurant was quite average. Most of the staff were attentive. I ordered the schnitzel, which was a bit small and came with only a few chips. The meal was quite expensive considering it was pub food. Overall, the experience was average.
Without exception the worst food I've ever had anywhere. Just awful. Had a table of 10 and everyone's meal was dreadful. It was a busy Saturday evening but they must be able to do better than this !

eating was absolutely atrocious, but has beautiful presentation also the nutella pizza was disgusting.
The food was terrible, but it was presented nicely. However, the Nutella pizza was not enjoyable.
