This was our third visit to Georgie's and was hoping for as satisfying evening as the first two visits. We drove 150 miles to specifically go there for a milestone birthday. We requested the exceptional server we had on our 1st two visits, Pearl, but unfortunately, were not seated in her area. Nothing was mentioned by the obviously unhappy hostess about the request when we were lead to our table, so we assumed it was not a problem. We soon realized it was but having both worked in fine dining, we did not want to make a fuss. The wedge salad at Georgie's is a special treat so we enjoyed that with some steamers for appetizers. However, the main course prime rib we both ordered was both cool an...

Was so looking forward to dining here. Arrived and was pleasantly greeted. Ordered a bottle of wine from the menu and was told they were out, chose another, was brought a bottle of Pinot (not Chardonnay), luckily I caught it before the bottle was opened. It happened AGAIN! So twice I caught before bottle was opened. The crab cakes (I love crab cakes) were very disappointing. Was not presented well and did not taste good. Looked like all dark meat that was shredded, no light lumps and the sauce was flavorless.? Husband had wedge salad and chowder, both his dishes were good. When the bill came the two unopened bottles of Pinot were on the bill! Waitress was apologetic and it was corrected. Jus...
My husband and I had an excellent dining experience. The ambiance was lovely. We began with a fried zucchini appetizer that brought back fond memories of home. I ordered a house salad with homemade blue cheese dressing, which was delightful! My husband had the clam chowder, and he found it delicious. He also enjoyed the wild salmon paired with garlic mashed potatoes and vegetables. I opted for the vegetable fettuccine topped with Parmesan, and it was fantastic!
Disappointed in this restaurant. The fish did not taste fresh and my halibut was very overdone and hard and dense. Vegetables were not cooked- carrots were almost raw. Mashed potatoes had no taste. My daughter had tuna and did not like it. The restaurants in the water but they had the blinds drawn so you couldn't really appreciate the view. Very overpriced for the quality Book a table now
This was mediocre food for fairly high prices. I ordered crab cakes, thinking they would be freshly made in a coastal community that has a significant crab fishing industry. They were out of a box, frozen and not the best for the price! Do not think you will be getting thoughtfully prepared food. This is an assembly line. Service was good.
The ocean view is always stunning. The service is top-notch, and the food is fantastic. We ordered the prime rib, cod fish and chips, and seafood pasta diablo, all of which were delicious. Our meals arrived quickly, and we were in and out within an hour. I highly recommend making a reservation, as this place tends to get busy.
The staff is very friendly and professional. The clam chowder was very good. The Louie salad was very fresh, well presented but expensive. The crab cakes were underwhelming for the price. French fries were fresh and nicely crisp. Overall while the meal was good, entrees seemed overpriced.
Really sad how the food quality was at the most recent visit. The Seafood pasta had microscopic shrimp and scallops- in the past the dish was delicious. The halibut fish n chips were 50% undercooked soggy batter : Used to be a favorite spot.... Bummer Book a table now
The stuffed wild coho salmon was the best salmon entree that I have ever had anywhere. My wife had the stuffed chicken breast and said it was moist and flavorful. Both portions were just right leaving us satisfied with room for dessert.
Waited 10 minutes on a reservation, waited 15 minutes for our waiter to take our order, waited 10 minutes for the margarita to come, so that 35 minutes for a drink. Service was awful, food was just ok.
