Schönes Restaurant in Altenkirchen direkt am Marktplatz. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, hier passt das Ambiente, die Einrichtung und die Dekoration gut zusammen. Man kommt rein und fühlt sich wohl. Überwiegend deutsche, bodenständige Küche mit kleinen raffinierten Highlights. Handwerklich solide gemacht. Der Service routiniert, professionell, aufmerksam und den Gästen zugewandt. Wir waren als Gruppe mit 16 Personen da, auch diese Herausforderung wurde gut gemeistert. Ein Lob an das Team. Sehr gerne kommen wir wieder.
we stayed on Sunday evening for the first time at the wall house for dinner. We were two and were warmly welcomed. we got a great table assigned. because we were pretty early, there were still some places free. later all the tables were occupied. we decided to go for a starter and two main dishes. a rib eye steak 400g and a rumpsteak 200g. the steaks were perfectly fried. to the point. the ordered supplements(sweeping, pommes and pfeffersoße) were also great.price performance is also true. rupsteak with salat 15,90€
06.01.24 Erst bestellte ich ein Schnitzel und bekam es ohne Panade. Zu guter letzt hatten meine Freundin und ich Durchfall und haben ein Völlegefühl ein Tag später noch im Magen. Beim ersten Mal als wir da waren hatten wir einen Gutschein von dem Restaurant geschenkt bekommen und waren direkt beim ersten Mal total begeistert.Waren auch schon ein zweites Mal da und werde auch noch öfter da Essen gehen. we were on 21.12. beautiful pre-Christmas environments, friendly and attentive service so that they wish. the freshly prepared eating rumpsteak, putensteak, all awarded with a large number of kartoffels and the xxl burgermücken. ah yes, before there was a colorful leaf salad for every farm. we ate everything and like to come back!
all in all a nice evening with friends super service you can sit very nice outside at the beautiful market place in the pedestrian zone to eat we don't want to write anything that everyone has to decide for themselves
the restored wandhaus offered a great ambience.Leider had to return some of us the steaks because it was not roasted according to the request.The white wine was unfortunately also not sufficiently cooled.
this very beautifully restored restaurant is a must visit for all the old churches. the service and above all the owners are very nice and friendly. the kitchen is top. for every taste and purse!
