Family owned, the service can't be beat....except by the food! Nothing I have tried here has ever been less than phenomenal. Every time I come to Chicago, I make a point of eating here at least once. This year I will be making the trip with friends that have never been to Chicago. Giacomo's will be a definite stop on the trip.
This restaurant oozes nostalgia. The food was amazing, I personally had some like mozzarella filled breadstick, stuffed mushrooms, and lasagna. Portions were enormous and everything was absolutely delicious. Our server was just a delightful young lady who was really sweet and a great server.
Super authentic. We will be back. The Pollo Morano (I substituted linguine) had a wonderful cream sauce but was not too heavy. I forgot to take pictures of the phenomenal cappuccino, tiramisu, and gelato. Our waiter was amazing and helpful the entire visit as well!
I love this restaurant. I use it for both takeout and dine in. I usually order the pick a pasta and sauce dinner, it comes with soup or salad. Their made in house soups are delicious. Quality is always consistently above average. Book a table now
I will never forget the beautiful Italian food and warm,fresh bread, served for my mother’s luncheon funeral. I would love to return for alfreso dining. I live far south so it’s hard for me to get there!
