Conveniently located less than 2 miles from the Meadowland Sport Complex, this classic, family-owned establishment is just the kind of place one would want to find when visiting North Jersey. Our last visit was 4 years ago, and my partner, our friends and I made a return visit yesterday with friends at Gianna's, situated in Carlstadt. Reservations were easily made the day before via Open Table. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the staff and made our way to a table by the front window. The menu is classic Italian, with either single or family-style portions, and is made with all the attention to detail and quality of ingredients one would expect. We have been dining at Gianna's for several years, and I've never had a disappointing meal there. The entire staff is friendly and accommodating, and the food is consistently well-prepared and delicious. Be sure to leave some space for dessert, especially the ice cream cakes—they're a must-try! The prices are also quite reasonable. As I mentioned earlier, our long-standing patronage speaks for itself; if it weren't so good, we wouldn't keep coming back.
I've visited Gianna's for the second time, and I can confidently say that it never disappoints. They serve family-style portions, which is perfect for larger groups. The pasta, appetizers, and chicken cutlets were absolutely delicious. The restaurant has a small, cozy atmosphere that feels very family-oriented. The staff is fantastic, too! I absolutely love this place and highly recommend it—11 out of 10!
Five of us went for an early dinner prior to The Rolling Stones concert at Met Life Stadium. We ordered their family style chicken parm and rigatoni with broccoli rab and sausage; there was a house salad and two sides of penne with marinara sauce. The wait staff was attentive and the food was plentiful and excellent! We will be back!

An absolute treat. The food was delicious, the staff was extremely pleasant and professional. You can tell the food is made fresh for you when you order it and it makes a huge difference. Will definitely be adding this restaurant into our weekly rotation!
My wife and I had dinner there last Friday. We eat there frequently. The whole staff is very friendly and attentive. My wife had Gnocchi Bolognese and I had Chicken Rollatini. Both were excellent. If you go make sure to save room for dessert.
Gianna’s does not disappoint! Our new favorite spot! We come in from the city knowing we’ll leave happily. Good homemade food!
It needs a little more entertainment maybe some music is very quiet it feels like a library. The food was amazing tho
