I went there for lunch with my husband. I used to go there a few years ago for business lunches, and it was nice to be back as it was at the time one of my favorite restaurants in Zug. I love the atmosphere, the fact that the waiters are very friendly (and even remember you a few years later when you drop in), the food. You might have to wait a bit longer than in other places to get your food served depending on the time of the day you go there, but the food is always fresh and amazingly tasty. The chef is putting efforts to create a great tasting sensation in your plate, and the waiter are there to make sure you enjoy food with a smile. So a few years later, I can say I still love the place...
We have been going to Giardino for about 8 years - whenever we felt like good Italian food. Our latest visit was on Saturday, 27/2/16, with some family visiting from the Netherlands. We needed a relaxed, uncomplicated meal - and Giardino nailed it! I had the Borgotara pizza, loaded with Gorgonzola, and it was excellent! My daughter was a little disappointed because the pasta with broccoli wasn't on the menu anymore, but the Crespelli was a good substitute, she says. We all agreed that the dinner was a success - thank you, Giardino!
I had dinner here - Greek salad to start - and then what proved to be a slightly overgenerous portion of vitello tonnato - I was a bit skeptical about how it looked, when it arrived. I probably should't have eaten it. That night after dinner, I was very ill - and have been for the last 4 days - hopefully now clearing. It is always difficult to be totally sure with food poisoning (where you got it), but pretty sure it was here ... maybe not helped by the very hot weather ... and not that many customers in the restaurant.
We both ordered Pizza. Delivery was fast but the quality was poor. Both pizzas were not really long enough in the oven and were too thick and doughy. The topping on my pizza was sort of OK but the other one was indeed poor. The house wine was served chilled (red). When it warmed up a little it was apparent why....a Really cheap wine actually and way overpriced. The waiter has however really nice and friendly. Box ticked...we will not be going back

We have been going to Giardino's for about 9 years & both the food & service were always great but last night it was outstanding. I had pasta pockets filled with asparagus with a light creamy wild garlic (bärlauch) sauce. It was perfect! The service was impeccable & we were really impressed by the waitress memorizing our entire order including starters. Well done, & thank you Giardino for a perfect evening!
Been there with some friends and we had pizzas and pastas. The wine was not the best but we had a nice variety to chose from . Pizza is good and big enough for one person.Desert comes as ice-cream mainly and some cakes.Atmosphere was nice and service at it`s best.
We were are large group and were accommodated very well. I really enjoyed my grilled vegetables and also took a spaghetti vongele which was great. Everyone was very happy with their pizzas. My husbands favorite Italian in zug
We visited Giardino in the evening. The terrace outside was nice but nothing special. Food and service were both good. Bruschetta, cannelloni, tomato soup and pasta were all good.

It was nice experience to be here for dinner. I was fortunate to have a dinner with our software architect. It really felt so nice.
