We have never left a bad review, check our profile. Never. But, after being a long time customer of well over 15 years, we felt the need to leave this review regarding our experience at the place. Every year for over 15 years our kids and extended family have either visited this establishment for gingerbread houses or since Covid, we have purchased them to go the past few years. This year we placed our order on 12/2 for a pick up of 12/23. Everything at this shop has to be done via email, they no longer give you an option of speaking with them via telephone. Since they're currently not holding on premises decorating parties due to the current restrictions, I picked up house kits to complete at home for my roommates and me. I called on Friday and was able to reserve pick up on Saturday and was in and out Saturday when I arrived. They're definitely pricey but the houses are fairly large and smelt so fresh when we opened them at home. The houses are preassembled with two versions where the door is on the gable end or under the eave. The kit included plenty of icing but a condensed selection of candy so we picked up some more decorating materials at the dollar store. Overall very pleased with the house kits and had a great time completing them.
I prefer the original location to the modern smaller location . The staff is super friendly helpful. The ho get read has a fabulous flavor. The end result is a great memory made with a beautiful Christmas table centerpiece created.
Our Grandchildren decorate their Gingerbread Houses each Thanksgiving. They love decorating them. It has become a Thanksgiving tradition.
