The pieces were cut into various sizes, making it seem like they were rushed, and there was no dressing provided for the salad. We were really let down given the positive reviews, especially considering we spent over $40 on Uber Eats for just two items. It would have been worth it if the food had met expectations. I'm still reflecting on my incredible dining experience at Ginkgo Katsu. The katsu was golden, crispy, and truly perfect. The sushi rolls were a flavor explosion, especially the creamy California roll that just melted in my mouth. And let's not forget the side dishes! I ordered the chicken katsu bento box through DoorDash, and it was so delicious that I felt compelled to leave a review. The chicken was crispy and juicy without being greasy, and everything in the box was fantastic. My only minor complaint is that the spicy katsu sauce tasted more like medium BBQ sauce. This is one of our favorite places huge portions, food is so yummy, I literally plan my kids Dr appts around us getting lunch here.
The takeout boxes are beautifully designed. The food is visually appealing and tastes fantastic as well. The portions are generous.
