Just as a heads up the cook is new and he does not make anything in the traditional manner. I ordered something tonight and was utterly baffled as to what they placed in my bag and tried to convince me this is how it is made. When I advised the mouthy young guy behind the counter how it is prepared he replied Oh you like the traditional Chinese way UUMMM DUH it is a Chinese restaurant I am ordering from then he tries to explain 3 different ways the same thing is prepared. I had to explain to him I have been ordering this before he was born then he finally says that they do not have the supplies to cook it the proper way as I have always had for many years there. It is certainly time for them...
This restaurant offers American-Chinese cuisine with heart. We used to frequent another place, but thankfully we found this gem on Yelp, and our cravings for fried rice have finally been fulfilled! The fried rice here—made with bean sprouts, a vibrant yellow color, and fresh onions—reminds me of my childhood in Queens! My husband, who is from Northern China where noodles are essential, loves the Lo Mein and Mifen. It’s also a joy to have such patient and kind people answering the phones! I wish them continued success for many years ahead!
There are several Chinese restaurants just two minutes from my home in Freeport, but I prefer dining at this one in Baldwin. The service is friendly and the food is delicious, which is why I keep coming back. They also accept credit cards, which is really convenient when I'm coming home late from work and don’t want to make an extra stop to withdraw cash. I highly recommend this restaurant!
I always get delivery and except for Friday’s when I’m sure they are busier than any other day their deliver is VERY fast, their food is always good and they are always very polite.

The Chinese food here is really excellent! However, it can get quite busy on the weekends, so while they say a wait time of 10 minutes, it often turns into about 20.
