My family and I had yum cha on Sunday at the Hellenic Club. We arrived early, were seated promptly, and our tea and food came out quickly. The quality of the ingredients in most dishes, like noodles and buns, was good, but there were limited non-seafood options. Everything was clean, but we wished there were more vegetable dishes. The selection was somewhat limited, with some items like fried squid and boar shell being excellent, but others like taro dumplings were disappointing. The spring rolls were large but had bad fillings and were overcooked. The cheung fan rolls were also underwhelming, with little filling. Overall, it seemed like there was more focus on quantity than quality, and the...

Have absolutely no vegetarian options. I asked 3 different staff members before they could find anyone who could talk to me about the menu items. When asked for vegetarian food he rolled his eyes and offered me chicken wings. I was part of a larger...party but Needless to say I didn’t eat. We were told quiet rudely to leave less than hour after arriving. When I tried to clarify that I wasn’t charged for a meal as the receipt wasn’t in English they refused to tell me if it was per head or per meal charge, just kept asking to pay and leave. I honestly don’t know how this place is still in business, must be surviving off the location . No one else was impressed with the food either my family le...

The service at this restaurant was awful. There was only one steamed cart going around, and all the food was being taken by larger groups before it reached smaller tables. Despite multiple promises that the food would be coming soon, after an hour there was still no Sui Mai, rice rolls, chicken feet, or sticky rice. All we saw were spring rolls and overpriced chicken wings on the cart. We eventually gave up and went downstairs to get a pie instead.

A good selection of yum cha and reasonable quality. But service is mixed (I was told to ask someone else for chilli today by one of the servers). There is also no vegetarian on the yum cha menu (except spring rolls and an odd radish...thing), but you can order separately from the menu if you ask. We have eaten here several times and think it is much better than the Scholar in Dickson. Book a table now

Food was solid, soft shell crab, prawn wonton and 5 spice squid entrees were very tasty and priced $18 $20. Mains duck and Mongolian beef were good. $29. satay chicken and roast pork hot pot lacked flavour. $29 $35. Service is friendly however...they overcharged us with someone else’s drinks, which took 15 minutes to sort out.

Always busy at Ginseng so if you do not want to wait make sure you book. Three of us enjoyed a leisurely meal with Chinese tea.We had lots of greens - Chinese broccoli times 2 and green beans which were very tasty. Some enjoyed chicken times 2, we had various steamed dim sims, whitebait, and spring roles. We will return soon.

Ordered takeaway, honey chicken consisted of batter with no visible chicken, texture was doughy and oily at $22, you'd expect more. Mongolian lamb was chewy. Fried rice was flavourless. Complained about the quality but was assured that it contained chicken breast. Save your money

went expecting fresh, piping hot yum cha experience. Instead, we have a limited selection of yum cha dishes that went round and around the trolleys that sometimes came our way. very crowded with tables in which has broken. it's hard to wait. Book a table now

we got our dumplings and there was a black hair sitting on the top of the dumplings, looking at all, I was horrified. I felt like it was a targeted premeditated reaction.
