We went to the Giraffe Bury St Edmunds having not been there for circa 5 years...pre going we looked at the website and were so excited by the new menu Unfortunately on arrival we were told there were no Tapas dishes at all..circa 6-8 dishes Also we were told there were no hot drinks at all..... the coffee machines had broken down Now I can understand the coffee machine breaking down ...but none of the tapas dishes available....even after asking twice we didn’t get any explanation What we had was good but a poor experience overall for a customer who was trying Giraffe after a long break Regards Malcolm
We were not taken to our table; instead, we were just pointed in the direction of where we would be seated. One of the tapas dishes had an unusual taste, and while we were offered a replacement, we had nearly finished our meal by that point. My daughter's burger was tough, and she found it inedible.
First time in a Giraffe, went after going to pictures as our 6 year old grandson had been before and wanted a specific meal. He got his meal and ate it all up so cant have been bad. Would go again.
The service was friendly and efficient we weren’t rushed, the staff were attentive but not overbearing, and quick to remedy issues. A relaxed brunch.
