A cherished favorite from my childhood! We used to get our birthday cakes from here. After many years, I found myself in Maspeth and decided to grab a bite to eat. I ordered a tuna salad on a pulp roll, and I must say, even without celery and onions, it was absolutely delicious! Your cookies are simply the best. I bought some to take with me to Florida, but, unfortunately, the ants couldn’t resist them either—lol! I highly recommend this place for sandwiches and baked goods. I don’t often find myself giving five-star reviews, but Glendale Bakery truly deserves it. I just started sixth grade, and I often stop by for pastries on my way home. One time, I bought a large chocolate chip cookie for a friend, and the man at the counter surprisingly offered it to us for free. I was taken aback because I’m not used to such generous gestures, but he insisted we take it. I've been to many bakeries, but the staff here genuinely seem kind and generous. Plus, the food is absolutely delicious. I really hope this bakery remains around for many years to come.
I absolutely love their cakes and cookies! They are always so fresh. Whenever I bring something from here to a party or social gathering, everyone asks me where I got the delicious cake or pastry. The breakfast sandwiches are great as well. The staff is also very sweet and polite. Overall, it's a fantastic place for me!

I absolutely adore this classic downtown bakery! The staff is friendly and efficient, all from the local community. You can grab a box of pastries or customize an egg sandwich just the way you like it.
They serve absolutely delicious oatmeal, and their variety of baked goods is excellent as well.
