Last Sunday I took a friend shopping at Northgate shopping center and came across a cafe and to my surprise I found that they could cater for my dietary needs. The staff were able to make me a cup of coffee with a lactose free milk (not soy, almond or rice) a brand that I regularly use at home so I felt this was a wonderful treat as very few cafes will cater for people with lactose intolerance. Adding to the coffee I could also order a gluten free treat. I found the service staff very friendly and the food was served quickly. I can recommend this cafe to people with lactose and gluten intolerances.
Wife and i often enjoy a reaxing Coffee at the North Gate Gloria Jean. The staff are pleasant and friendly and well trained. I slipped up last week and ordered a Toasted ham and cheeze Sarnie. Least said the better. Paper thin with bland tasteless cheeze and non existent ham. Not worth $1 never mind the exorbitant amount i paid. I will stick to Coffees from now on.
Gloria Jean's is a lovely cafe coffee shop with wonderful baked goods and treats. We never miss it on our trips to Tasmania. It's easily accessible with street parking with nice tables. Order caramel slices, something hard to find anymore.
One of the last two Gloria denim coffee in Hobart (the other in Kingston). Shane offered a great service. Always ready with some beer. Coffee is ok and always the same. Love the banana bread.

Good coffee. Shane makes a perfect long macchiatto. The service us great. They remember my name and remember my coffee order. Can't fault them. Shane gets my special vote.
Pretty much a standard Gloria Jean establishment, however, when the franchise owner is manning the coffee machine, you can expect what is (IMHO) the best
Drop in regularly for coffee after a Coles shop. Coffee is good and their vanilla slice, YUM! Conversation area in the front of the cafe is a great spot.
The guys do a great long macchiato. They get it right every time. Even remember my name. Best macchiato in Northgate Shopping Centre

great spot for a coffee and a treat when shopping completed at Glenorchy, staff were very good and place is always clean and tidy
Service was good. Chicken cheese and bacon roll was yummy. Seating was comfortable staff was friendly
