It's run by a single person, likely the owner, who takes your order and prepares the meals himself. This was our first visit, and we loved it! It seems to be a small family-run Korean restaurant, which we are always happy to support. I ordered the Dole-Sote-Bibimbap, which typically comes in a hot stone pot, but since I opted for a takeout, it was served as a regular bibimbap. It also included a side of kimchi radishes, a small salad, and soup. Everything was delicious, and I’m excited to return to try more items from the menu! There were about three families dining there as well, so it’s definitely a family-friendly spot.
Once I arrived, I headed straight to the ordering area. I decided to go for Tteokbokki and Bibimbap, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly my order arrived. However, when I tasted the Tteokbokki, I was a bit disappointed. While many people rave about it, the flavor didn’t quite suit my palate, and I found it a bit too spicy for my liking. I might give their other dishes a try in the future, though. On a brighter note, I really enjoyed the Bibimbap—the soup that accompanied it was fantastic!
My wife introduced me to Goo Goo Ma over a decade ago when he had a small stall in a Korean grocery store. He has since moved to this larger location and continues to provide delicious, authentic Korean food at reasonable prices. His restaurant is always clean and he is so welcoming. Food is fresh and hot with plenty of dishes to try. If you’re unfamiliar with Korean food just try the #3 and thank me later.

The food was fresh and perfectly seasoned! We had the kimchi fried rice, number 1a 1b and 11. The Kinchi stew was so good! We also ordered the cold spicy noodles home... also delicious. Very simple and clean restaurant. I love the self-service option for drinks and tables. The cook was polite and patient and answered our questions. Easy service and good food, we will be back!
What can I say, I was pleasently surprised how great tasting and fresh the food here is. I would think this would be somewhere in the city with lots of staff and busy atmosphere, but it's more of a hidden gem in the northern suburb. Definitely recommend, and if you're a first to Korean kitchen I suggest you try the Spicy Squid entree!
Great Bibimbap! The spicy sauce came on the side which we were happy to partake. The rice stayed hot for a very long time and the price is very reasonable for something delightful. We will be back to try out their other dishes and for Bibimbap cravings.
Went here for the first time and it was so delicious. I ordered ramen and it was so good. It was nice and hot! Very flavorful. The restaurant itself is very cozy and comfortable. 10/10 I recommend you try the ramen.Food: 5/5
