The pizza tastes good but is way overpriced. I wouldn’t recommend ordering online or through Uber Eats—not due to poor service, but because you're better off picking up a carryout special. It’s literally the same pizza, and you'll save around $20. Also, this place doesn’t offer the original crust on all pizzas anymore. They’re basically just trading on the name. The recipes are good, but it’s no longer worth the price. A message to the owners: please bring back the original crust for your regular menu items. Right now, I’m seeing a $5 pizza while I paid $25. Definitely not acceptable!
Ok all you crazy pizza lovers, here 's the deal with this pizza. I ordered a large veggie pizza last night. They ran the total past me $29 something. 'Wow ok ' I thought to myself. See, usually when I get pies around that price point I eat them then say 'That was fine. Really though did I just buy a fancy pizza to be fancy? ' This Godfather 's pizza was a different story. Worth every dollar, perfect, delicious. The softest crust, like eating a soft pillowy yet crispy cloud from the sky. My dining companions sang the same praises. Well done Godfather 's.
I grew up eating Godfathers Pizza because there used to be one right down the street from me in El Cajon! After not eating it in decades, it taste remarkable! Right out the oven fresh it is extremely delicious. I keep my pizzas simple with toppings limited to pepperoni and sausage everywhere and ya this was fantastic!! So far I have ate twice in the last week ?
This place has been here for FOREVER and it’s one of the best pizza places in San Diego. I think it’s the only location in San Diego now. They have the $6 carry out pizzas and then specialty pizzas that are so good. They do delivery. I have no staff or restaurant complaints. It’s a great little spot and I’m glad they’re up and running still.

The food is fresh, made to order. Menu is about what you would expect from a pizza place. It has just a few sit-down tables. Largely a carryout/mobile delivery system store. My favorite is the monkeybread.Vegetarian options: They have either cheese or vegetable pizza.
The staff at Godfather's Pizza are friendly and well-informed about their menu. The food was delicious! I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza, a medium garden salad, and a large BBQ chicken wing dings. Everything was fantastic!

$24 for a medium, I’d be expecting a delicious pizza. Honestly little Caesar’s is a better option. First time coming here and never again. 0 stars
