Walked in at exactly 2:40 PM. Goldberg 's at this location supposedly closes at 3:00 PM. I 'm not the kind of customer who would walk in and slam a large order on the staff 5 minutes before closing. But all the computer monitors behind the counter were already turned off. I just wanted one wrap sandwich to go. When I looked confused at the blank screen, all I got was We 're closing buddy. They still made me a grilled chicken wrap, but I find this to be very unprofessional. The food here isn 't terrible, it 's ok. However, they 're priced in the higher end and service should be a bit more consistent. And shutting down that early from your actual posted hours sends a pretty bad message.
You have to understand where you are first, you are really deep in New Jersey here. So! To get a quick service in the middle of New Jersey is practically impossible, but these guys are different! They have their s$ together and that's why I swing by here from time to time on my way to extra curriculum classes for my kid. Speedy service, plenty of options for a quick breakfast, a few tables to sit down. Now I forgot to mention it's a small spot, in and out type of thing. Nevertheless the door is hardly ever closed, customers are pouring in non-stop. Ordered coffee and a power wrap. Thanks!
New owner from the last time we were there 2 weeks ago when everything was excellent, the best bagels around. Now, 7 guys behind the counter and it took 10 minutes to get 2 bagels. The store has a new setup, not clean, empty displays and salads in the display that were brown, which means they were old. Quality of the bagels were not as good, under cooked. My bagel had a long hair in it that I only found after eating half of it . After coming here for more than 5 years, we will not be returning.
The food is good, but every time I've visited, there's been an issue with my order. I have several allergies, so I need to be specific about what I request. They offered to fix the mistake, which was kind of them, but I was already back at work and didn't have time to return for the correct order.

$3.33 for a bagel and they can't even put the cream cheese on the actual bagel. More is on the outside and wrapper. I can't understand why places give so much cream cheese. Not impressed by the bagel either. Seems a bit stale for 9am pickup.
They just can't seem to get it right if they don't take a personal approach. I waited half an hour for my order, and it was frustrating to see others receive their meals while I was left waiting. It's really quite unbelievable!
Bagels taste great, no complaining there. service is brutally slow. it is impossible for me to go here and get a bagel with cream cheese on my break from my job, which is a 2 minute drive on the street. great eating.
You can tell there are new owners. Not nearly as good as it was. Basic bagels are still ok, but the rest of the menu? You'd do better at a grocery store. It's a shame.

Great bagels! As someone who is gluten-free, I really appreciate having the option to enjoy a Taylor ham and cheese. It's a wonderful treat!
I ordered a vegi sandwich which was not fresh vegetables and a bagel with cream cheese with hardly any cheese on it very disappointed
