My wife and I love Indian food and couldn 't resist trying the Golden Curry on the strength of the reviews that we had read. The pickle tray started off a wonderful meal with big and generous servings of the onions, mango chutney, yogurt and the hot spicy dip. And then I had the garlic chicken chilli (delicious flavours with just the right amount of spiciness) and my wife had the lamb biryani which she says was delicious with big pieces of tender lamb all accompanied by a flavoursome sauce. Just back from dinner and couldn't wait to review as our meal was outstanding. We are curry lovers and have to say this was by far the best we have enjoyed anywhere either at home or abroad. Not much to the entrance but once inside it's a cosy space to dine, you can see the chef cooking away and its absolutely spotless, including the toilets. Service was spot on, very courteous and friendly. We had Paneer Tikka and Chicken Pakora followed by Lamb Rogan Josh and Garlic Chilli Chicken, all cooked to perfection. This nice Indian restaurant is situated not far from main Nerja attractions. We came here twice during our stay and we loved it. That was not the first time I tried curry, but it was a love from first site. You can really try all Indian spices and enjoy the flavours. I highly recommend this place to everyone who is in to Indian cuisine or who wants to start. The prices are reasonable and the meals are big enough. I will definitely come back! Wish good luck to the owners and the staff.
This Indian restaurant may not be the ‘swishest’ of restaurants but the food was absolutely delicious (even down to the finely chopped onion and tomatoes accompanying the poppadoms, rather than the big chunky stuff that doesn’t stay on top of the poppadom! and the service was swift, efficient and very friendly. Our first visit to this newly opened restaurant but it will definitely be on our favourites list from now on.

We took our 2 friends for a meal last night, As our usual Indian was closed.we decided to give Golden Curry a try as it had been recommended by some other friends. We had a good meal, and the staff were really pleasant (unlike another curry house I will not mention byname) We will return and recommend to others.
My husband and I popped into this restaurant the other evening. What a gem! They have a set menu with a pakora/bahji Lamb madras or chicken tikka masala With rice and a whole nan all for €8.50. The owners are delightful. Can’t wait to return. One of the best Indians I have ever had in Nerja
We had the set meal €8.90. Exellent large pickle tray for starter and beautifully cooked main course's. Everything was cooked fresh.Staff very obliging swapping one plain nan for garlic €1.There was that much food we had to asked for doggy bag. Definatley would recommend.
Definitely the best indian restaurant in Nerja. They have plates for all tastes, from mild to hot, but also many in between. Good wines and very nice, service minded staff. In the middle of town. Good value!

Not the cheapest, but well worth it, especially since they parcelled up the leftovers which was at lesst enough for another meal. Very pleasant service
Been twice the last week. This is my new favorite Indian in Nerja. Really good and tasty food with big portions!
