When ordering a 1/4 crispy duck, one would expect to receive a quarter of a duck. However, I was surprised to find that the portion I received was mostly fat and bone, with very little actual duck meat. The chicken balls tasted like they had been reheated in the microwave. When we tried to complain about the quality of the food, we were told that this was how they served it and that other places were cheaper. The manager eventually offered £5 off our next order instead of a refund, despite the fact that the duck cost £9.70. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! If I could give 0 stars I would. Disgraceful customer service. I came in to collect an order to be told I had to pay more than they quoted as I only had a card on me. I explained to the lady on the desk that no one told us that on the phone, and that I would have to see if my partner had cash in the car. Then a man came out from the kitchen shouting at me and pointing at their menu that it said cash on collection and being very rude in general. My wife and I ordered from Golden Dragon via JustEat. My wife has a medical condition which means she cannot have spicy food. She selected the Satay Chicken as this had NO chilli symbols. On arrival and first taste this dish was very spicy! I called the restaurant immediately and explained my concerns, only to be met with a very rude and defensive attitude, offering no apology or offer of alternative dish! I have ordered via JustEat many times and never had a problem with their food. This was an example of complete disregard for customer feedback and service. I will never order form Golden Dragon following our experience!!!
I had a great experience at this restaurant and I'm glad I didn't read any negative reviews before giving them a try. The takeaway food is always amazing, hot, and fresh, with no greasy or stale flavors. The staff are friendly and helpful, and our orders are always delivered quickly. I have no complaints at all and we all love ordering from here. I just wish I lived closer so I could enjoy their food more often. My colleague and I will definitely continue to order from this restaurant as much as possible. Book a table now
This takeaway provides superb food which is very well cooked. Very pleasant owner (and is from mainland China, so he knows his food! , very helpful. Prices are a little higher than others around, but very good quality. Thoroughly recommended.
We ordered food that arrived cold, and when I called to address the issue, I was not treated well and told not to order again. We were loyal customers and did not expect to be treated that way. It was a terrible experience.
Ordered via JustEat.co.uk on a Saturday evening. Was told delivery would be one hour, it was actually one and a half hours, meaning we were left very hungry. Food was nice enough, orange chicken maybe a bit too orange.
