Got honey chilli chicken and it honestly was the worst Chinese I've ever had! It was seriously rough. The chicken was hard and tasted strange. The sauce was clear liquid with some chilli flakes in it. It was the consistency of lube. Maybe they where just having a bad day but honestly it was a waste of money. I don't like talking bad about places but it really was rough and I couldn't eat it.
Just ordered Chicken Slices in gravy with chips and chacken balls chips were grand suppose you can't go wrong but as for the rest the Chicken was tough a d hard round the edges and get charged £13 the chicken has been pullulled of the fridge warmeed in the gravy and out the door absolutely a disgrace ment to be fresh every day not stuff left from the weekend not happy
Hit or miss now, only noticed this in 2019, getting food that's not cooked thoroughly. By the time I get home with the food, it's too much hassle to go back with it. I have reverted to curried chips, which are ok.
Best Chinese take away in Magherafelt in my opinion. Great menu. Do different sauces and dishes that other Chinese take aways don't do. And the food is delicious. Especially the salted chilli garlic chicken. Book a table now
First time ever trying Golden Gate and their food is fabulous! Chicken fried rice had so much flavour and a big Portion of it inside the box, the gavery is rich and delicious would definitely recommend!!!!
Ate here lots when it was a restaurant. The take away is equally as good. It's nice that some part of it survived.
Good Chinese. Would sometimes go here for a takeaway for the whole family
