Golden House - Table reservation

This is the best Chinese food I've had in the valley. I ordered a roast pork egg foo young combo with fried rice and an egg roll. It was delicious. The first thing I noticed was the gravy. It didn't look like any gravy I've ever had from a Chinese restaurant. Most Chinese restaurant gravy I've had has been mostly just thickened broth. This gravy was peppery, savory, and rich. I am saving the rest to have with biscuits it's so good! The egg foo young patties were huge! They barely fit in the container and they were loaded with delicious roast pork and diced veggies. It wasn't too greasy or soggy at all, which is sometimes a problem with carry out egg foo young. They have delicious fried rice...

Thank you for being open in a small city like Toronto. This area needs more places like these that add a small culture. The food was delicious and quickly prepared. The prices were fair. The only thing I'd say needs work is the amount of spices. This could have more to do with the appeal to the clientele in this area, but the spider dishes could definitely be a notch to bring more heat. Again... thank you! The best food I've had for a long time. The fried will was perfectly cooked and tasteful. I had beef and broccoli, the beef was so tender. I should say the best in the valley. The service was excellent and very friendly. Two thumbs. It was the first time there and will definitely go back.

We never had a bad experience since reopening. Eating is always fast, orders are accurate, portion sizes are perfect, and everything tastes great.

So far I haven't found a better place to get Chinese food!! I love everything I tried here.
