On a rainy day, I wanted comforting soup. Ordered from Golden House for the first time. The hot and sour soup, egg drop soup, and the veggie fried rice. The hot and sour soup was the best. Many ingredients tofu, wood ear mushrooms, other veggies.Adding vinegar to it made it more perfect! The egg drop soup had silky egg, yummy. Both soups were thick in texture and a littlesalty so we diluted them with water. The veggie fried rice was yellow with broccoli! Not what we were expecting but tasted ok.Not to forget the crunchy noodles to top the soup, very nice. We?ll definitely order again.
I?m new to the neighborhood and found a few Chinese takeouts places to try. This was the first place I tried and will definitely keep this place as the only one I will go to. The food is delicious and not greasy at all and they are very generous with thefood portions?
I visited the restaurant for dinner, and the entire experience was fantastic. The staff were friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure that guests felt comfortable. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.

The food is quite good, but the server is very authoritarian and lacks any empathy for the customers. He often seems to be the main person on duty in the evenings.
Recently moved to the area and have tried a few places and keep coming back to Golden House. The best Chinese food around. Everything is delicious.
Parking: Free parking on Washington street. There is also small parking lot at the back of the building if you planing to stay longer.
Just an average Chinese food place. The food is ok. My husband likes it more then I do but I’m there’s really nothing to rave about.
