decided to get a fast meal at the golden king bbq in August 2018. ordered the combination rice with bbq pork and roasted. the meal itself was on average. nothing special, but came with everything that was advertised. the hygiene with the cutlery is absolutely shameful. I was given a fork, which still had tears in it and also a spoon that had coloring. I quickly asked the waiter to replace the cutlery. I can understand that this is a small restaurant, but it is not so hard to wash the cutlery before giving the in-house customers. the customer service was average. Ordered roast pork , roast duck and vegies with oyster sauce here to take away as I was craving some roasted meat. The vegies were quite tasteless and weren't cut to bite size. But oh boy the roast pork' skin was nice and crunchy, the roast duck was tasty too. Could be more generous with the sauce though, and great value for thhe roast pork and duck
I always go here for fried rice, but never had a greeting or smile or thank you from them. a dame there was always super rude and unfriendly, she always acts like in there to eat her for lol. as a business, even if they don't feel happy to say thank you when they take the money. what a terrible service every time.
if they are in eating and not in a atmosphere, then they get their shoes on. best bbq pork, fry pork and fry away. nothing like eating in the hack hacking bbq or frying pork. not much sitting, but very popular and huge Asian clientele, so authentic eating. a must, even if they take away and eat at home.
