Amazing Chef and cooking support staff at this location! Their Ackee/Saltfish is always amazing and fresh. I've been having it almost every morning and it never fails to fully satisfy. Their Escovitch Fish is also always amazing and is almost edible just from looking at it before even buying it. All of their menu items including one of my favorites in their Goat Head soup (which is only served on Fridays) are always exceptional and I can't say enough great things about the staff. Should be a bit more friendlier now in the mornings that a certain rude employee is no longer there. First Class Operation!!!!
Good food but inconsistent pricing bought food 4 days in a row first time customer bought exactly the same thing, pasta and 2 peices of fried chicken which was kinna small for the price but whatever, issue is first day paid about 11.00 ok next day 13.80 didn't question it cause I figured first day was a mistake 3rd day 13..00? Hmm today 14.14 said it was a custom item? Like how in D heck and cashier got annoyed when I questioned her, think you guys just lost a customer sorry.
This is not authentic Jamaican chicken soup. It tasted more like orange water with rotten potatoes. I tried to eat it, but the flavor was absolutely disgusting. It had no seasoning at all, and if it had been even slightly savory, I might have been able to finish it. Furthermore, the patties were overcooked. Overall, the whole meal was unappetizing, and despite my efforts, I couldn't bring myself to eat it because I didn't want to throw my money away.
This restaurant is a great spot to grab a bite in the morning or for lunch, offering a variety of Caribbean favorites. However, during my visit, they were out of peanut punch which was disappointing. The atmosphere could use some improvement, with men loitering outside selling weed and employees who don't seem happy to be there. It may be beneficial for the restaurant to consider giving their staff a raise or hiring new employees.

I came across a positive review on Happy Cow about this restaurant and assumed that the Spinach Patty was vegan. I enjoyed it so much that I returned today for another. However, when I inquired further, I discovered that both the spinach and the patty contain margarine. I'm uncertain about the soy options on the menu, so I recommend checking with the staff for clarification on what is and isn't vegan. Just a little heads up!

Some of the most rude people work here. You would think they would consider how they would like to be spoken to when ordering food and supporting a restaurant. Please find employees willing to smile and speak with your customers in a courteous way.
The patties tasted like they had just been taken out of the freezer and quickly microwaved. I noticed someone outside wearing their apron who then promptly went back inside. When you step out of the kitchen, please remember to take off your apron!

The woman had a rather unfriendly demeanor towards the man behind me earlier in the morning. She behaved as if she were the owner of the food, insisting that my porridge and ackee and saltfish looked identical, as if I were pleading with her.
