I wish I could say my experience with the food here was positive, but unfortunately, it was terrible. It was tasteless, bland, and overly greasy. I even developed a stomach ache from the small amount I ate. The crab rangoons had no flavor and were served with a thin, watery strawberry jam for dipping. Additionally, the bathroom was barely stocked. The cabbage in the Pad Thai was oversized, overcooked, and mushy. There was no tofu or other vegetables to speak of. Overall, I was not impressed, especially considering the high prices. I won't be returning and cannot recommend this place.
Our first time at this establishment and it did not disappoint. 2 sides; coconut shrimp and chicken wings. Coconut was on the hard side but delicious, and the wings were a little undercooked. Chicken with broccoli rice platter was ok, chicken was well season and tender but the broccoli was a little salty. Now the Pad Thai was on point, one of the best I've tasted and it was plentiful. It was cooked perfectly and well season. Small joint and I can see it being busy, server was pretty accommodating. A place to check out.
Visited while still under Covid restrictions, take out and delivery only. We ordered original Pad Thai with chicken, Curry Pad Thai with chicken, Spicy Basil Beef Noodles and Fresh Rolls Coconut Shrimp for appetizers. All the main dishes were delicious, saucy and creamy with just the right amount of spice. Careful with the spicy noodles, the chilies are well camouflaged and can leave you running for the fridge for some milk.
A pretty disappointing experience. The green and red curries were bland and consisted mostly of cabbage. The beef in the red curry had a weird, soft texture. The order of 4 coconut shrimp for $7.99 was very greasy and a complete rip off, as I'm pretty sure that the shrimp are the President's Choice brand coconut shrimp you can get from Super Store, which cost $10 for 17 and which you can bake rather than deep fry. All the dishes are surprisingly delicious, especially the Thai Basil Chicken noodles that is super spicy. The only staff there is extremely friendly. The only cons that I don't give 5 stars is that the air ventilation is not very good because it is super hot with heat warning today and we were all sweating after the hot and spicy meal. We will surely go back to try other dishes but not super hot days.
I recommend avoiding this restaurant! We ordered the combo dinner for two, which included rice, noodles, and spring rolls. Unfortunately, the spring rolls were the only decent item on the plate. I'm not usually a picky eater, but the soggy noodles and bland rice were just unappetizing. I definitely won't be coming back here again and wish I had known better than to try this place!
Ingenious and tasteful food from this place and the people who work there are very friendly. Had Thai fried rice, mango tango chicken and shrimp and black pepper beef and all were excellent. The ingredients used were all of high quality and very tasty. Would definitely recommend. Thank you to the team of Golden Mango
