This establishment is no longer a Chinese restaurant, for those who might be curious. 1) The food is mostly subpar. While there are a few decent dishes, the majority of the menu is disappointing. On the bright side, they do stay open late. 2) I recently discovered that all tips go to the owner instead of the dedicated staff. Having worked in restaurants myself, I find this practice quite untrustworthy, which has led me to decide not to return. I also recommend that others think twice before putting money in the tip jar.

I’m surprised to read so many negative reviews because I truly love this place. I’ve always interacted with the owner, and he has been nothing but pleasant! The food is great—it's the same kind of delicious fried food you’d find anywhere, but it hits the spot! I also appreciate that they stay open late. I wouldn’t judge it without trying it first, or perhaps give it another chance, because it’s honestly a solid little spot with some really tasty chicken!
I ordered the chicken over rice, hoping it had improved from previous times, but it definitely hadn't. Despite requesting it to be extra well done through DoorDash special instructions, the meat was undercooked, tasted off, and had an unpleasant aftertaste. I couldn’t finish the meal and ended up going to the bathroom shortly after. Something is clearly wrong, and they need to make serious improvements. I won’t be ordering from here again.

I always enjoy dining at Halalkrone, especially between 10 a.m. and closing time. The evening staff is fantastic, but I've had some issues with the morning crew—they often get my order wrong. Despite that, the nighttime service is consistently excellent, and I really appreciate the team's hard work. Thank you all for being the best!
This is the best restaurant! The employee working tonight is fantastic, and I just learned that he will be leaving soon. He will definitely be missed. I'm not sure if we'll come back because of that. I don’t remember his name, but today is Saturday, the 4th of 2022.
I had a wonderful experience with warm hospitality and delicious food at this restaurant. They even generously let me display my barber shop flyers there! The location is 34 South Main Street, Suite 19, Wilkes-Barre, PA.
The evening staff here are exceptionally friendly and always remember my name, which makes me feel truly welcomed. Most of the food is quite tasty, but I would recommend steering clear of the ribs—believe me on that!
