I went to this restaurant a week early to place a pre-paid order for a family dinner totaling over $200. When I went to pick up the food, the staff initially thought I was joking about the order until they found the slip. I was reassured that the food would be ready in 15 minutes, but when I received it, it was clear that it had been thrown together quickly. Everything was bland and dry, and despite asking about dinner rolls when I placed the order, they were not included. I was quite disappointed with the overall experience and will not be ordering from this restaurant again.
I moved to Whitman and I've been looking for a good Chinese food place since then. My aunt has lived in Hanson for 15 years and raves over Golden Roll. This is the third time I ordered from here and this place is amazing! I'm shocked, there are bad reviews! The chicken lo mine had large chicken chickens with fresh vegetables, right with rice. And the chicken fingers and wings were amazing, as well as the Beijing Ravioli. I'll be happy to drive 15 minutes to get food from here! This is literally the best Chinese food I ever had
I recently moved from the north bank to Hanson four months ago. I was disappointed when I ordered my meal and it didn't come with any fortune cookies. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find three fortune cookies on top when I opened my meal! The food was fresh and tasted delicious, especially the large pieces of meat in the lo mein. The chicken wings were a little dry, but the flavors made up for it. This will definitely be my go-to restaurant from now on. I am very pleased with this place!

I am from the north shore. Moved to Hanson 4 months ago. It is always very disappointing whenever i order lo mein and there is no pea pods. I was beyond thrilled when i opened my food and saw 3 pea pods at the top!! It was fresh, and tasted amazing. Large chunks of meat in lo mein as well. Chicken wings were a bit dry but the pea pods made up for it!!! This will be my go to place from now on! Very happy with this place!
This restaurant is absolutely awful. I hadn't been there for years but decided to give it a try based on a positive review I had heard. However, the food was subpar and the service was lacking - the server even ended up crying after I complained about the quality of the meal. I still ended up paying for the bill, but I definitely will not be returning.
The food is very good, especially when you consider that it is a hole-in-the-wall, round-the-way, just type of space. It is also quite expensive for the type of place it is. But it's worth trying. All the dishes and apps we tried were pretty delicious.
Gave 1 star for the chicken wings they were delicious the pork fried rice had no pork, onion, no other ingredients simply soggy with clumps of white rice the egg roll taste like pupu.Very disappointed!

Best beef Teriyaki and boneless spareribs, flavor and texture not rubbery like at most other places Ive been too! Pork fried rice and crab Rangoon were amazing as well! Overall extremely satisfied!
This is the worse Chinese food I ever had. No other ingredients in the rice. Plus the rice small bad. I wasted my $30
