Golden Snapper Fish Chips

I do have two minor critiques: 1. I was accidentally overcharged, but I received a refund immediately after I double-checked the receipt. 2. Instead of relying on an industrial fan that only circulates hot air inside the shop, investing in an air conditioner would be a wise choice to keep customers comfortable. At sunset, it gets really hot inside the store. I sympathize with the workers near those large fryers; they must be feeling the heat! That said, the service at the counter is always friendly. We will definitely return!

A few months ago, I accidentally discovered this restaurant while searching for the Indian place that used to be nearby. We decided to give it a try since I hadn't been impressed with any of the local fish and chip shops in the area. I'm really glad we did! This is honestly the best fish and chips I've had locally. The batter was light and crispy, and the chips were great. The grilled fish was also delicious and properly cooked—something that can be a rarity in takeout places. Definitely worth trying!

Hi, this is a fantastic small business! By far the best in the area from Jindalee to Clarkson. It may not look like much at first glance, but the fish and chips really speak for themselves. Be prepared for a wait time of around 30 minutes when it’s busy, so it's a good idea to call ahead. - FARMERdroo

Fast and friendly service. Crisp and tasty batter. Fresh fish. Chips nothing special. Average portion sizes. Fair prices. Would return as it's close to home, but I wouldn't rave about this place. Book a table now
