allendale location only Though the food is delicious and every time I 'm in the area I try to pickup food, my last experience with the staff(policy) was disappointing. Clearly they offer a choice of side salads with sandwiches. Macaroni, potato, or cole slaw and pickle. When I asked for Macaroni and Potato salad as the choices for sandwiches; I was told they were out. Upon walking out I saw that it was in the case. I asked and was told that those salads were only available in large containers. Very poor customer care. For reasons that I cannot understand they basically lied to my face. When pressed they did offer to get me the salads, but I needed to be on my way. They lost me as a customer.
We 've been going here for years. Prices have increased and somehow the service and quality has vastly decreased. Ordered a Taylor ham and cheese with no egg and only got three pieces of overcooked Taylor ham. Any other place in the area doubles the amount of meat when egg is not included. When it 's the same cost as a THE&C with less substance, it feels like a scam. So disappointed as this place was a go to. Also a $5.99 delivery charge for Door Dash Dash Pass when their used to be $0 and all other bagel places don 't charge, guess it 's time to find a place that truly cares about their loyal customers and not their wallet. But I 'm sure the excuse will be inflation .
So early days I was super happy with Goldbergs. Service was good, bagels were good. Now it's just the bagels. This is the second time in a month span that I've been left disappointed. Asked for scrambled eggs bacon and cheese on a bagel. First time I was given a bagel with just bacon and cheese. This time the eggs were not scrambled. Just fried. If it is not possible to scramble eggs for a sandwich just tell me when I order and that's fine. Don't tell me it's scrambled and then I find out when I get home that it's fried or there are no eggs at all on it.
I called in an order for two breakfast sandwiches. Both sandwiches were wrong. The bacon was raw. I told to have them credit me back and they were unwilling to. I went back to the store to voice my frustration and they were very unapologetic. This is the 2nd straight week they completely messed up our order.I will never go back. I suggest you don't go either. There are a lot of good bagel stores in Bergen county. Find a different one

I am originally from cliffside pk NJ but moved to florida where everyone knows the bagels and pizza are horrendous jyst cMe back for christmas and made sure to bring home 2dozen bagels from goldbergs still the best bagels i evver had i wish they would ship to fla but hands down goldbergs your the best ill definitely be back on next vacation
Excellent bagels and surprisingly good Mexican good, lol. Back to the bagels. They are superb. My only negative would be they put too much cream cheese on one but I'm sure people would complain if they did not get enough. Oh well, I scrape the excess off. Honestly, their bagels excellent. It can get busy too but isn't that a good sign?
The staff is always friendly and helpful. The food consistently tastes amazing, and my favorites are the bagels and breakfast wraps. The restaurant is always clean, and the coffee is fantastic.
We've been enjoying bagels from this place since it opened a few years ago, and they are consistently delicious and fresh. There's often a line, but it typically moves quickly.

I visited for the first time last week and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The bagels were delicious—hot and fresh! I would definitely recommend this place!
Way too expensive compared to other bagel shops- and there are plenty others. Only advantage is space but not worth the prices.
