It sounds crazy, but this was one of my favourite restaurants for one important reason. Smaller portions!! I can't tell you how happy I get when I see this. I usually can't finish large regular portions, and it just seems like a waste of money and food! I love having the option of a smaller size for less money. The food was excellent (the cheesy spätzle was unbelievable) and the service was great. My jäger schnitzel was a bit odd...it wasn't breaded, just a slab of pork, but still very tasty. The prices were very reasonable as well. I would recommend this place if you are in the area.
Definitely can't find more traditional Bavarian style than this. Schnitzel, crumbed fish, deer with cranberry sauce and spätzle. Although I would say the spätzle was mediocre. I have had with a little butter before and it adds much to the flavour. Food is good value for money and arrives quickly.Great atmosphere, super service... They even had a menu in English!! (Should you need it!) I would say an obvious choice when in Donauworth!
Came in for lunch and glad I did. Local food cooked very well, lots of choice on the menu. Staff friendly but a little slow, not surprised as there was only one serving. Decor fairly functional design, but I didn't come here to look, only to eat. Centrally placed. Would like to go back.
Conveneient place in the middle of the town. Clean and Tidy. Good selection of German fare on the menu. Staff are pleasant and friendly. Service can be on the slow side but it is good. Seating both in and outdside. Overall a very clean and comfortable place.

Tasty Bavarian food. Nice stay close to the centre of the town. Very gentle waiter, alwais available in supporting you for your choice. Car parking cery close to the restaurant, so it is also very easy to reach.
The steak was average, far from the higher price expectations. The staff was friendly. Bottom line: if they serve "baby beer - less than 0,5l, the guests are male (business) and the music is pop, move on.
Good place to eat in Donauwörth. People are nice and the card is quite long and with variety. Service is quick and, the days of affluence, you can meet people sharing a big table.
An excellent menu selection, can order small or large meals at reasonable prices. Friendly helpful service, excellent food, Fair wine. Very happy to recommend.

The Spargel with pork were really tasty and well cooked. The interior is interesting, too. A bit noisy, but that's typical for such places
