after a very good eating my wife has left the locality in passing the chef (and owner?) who stood at the court, according to the words "they have cooked very fine" or "the eating was very good" gave a feedback, after which she received as a arduous and arrogant answer: "then I can sleep well tonight," which is inappropriate and rude to a hospitable. a simple friendly thank you would have been enough for us.This evaluates the overall ambiente a bit, a pity. the next time, we will not speak any more praise elsewhere, too bad.
this is a really nice hotel close to the center of st. ingbert and the autobahn. the rooms are old-fashioned, but also modern. the rooms are spacious, quiet and very clean. the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. the internet speed is good and there are free parking available next to the hotel. there is also a super market 2 minutes to walk from the hotel. at least a nice accommodation if you are in st. ingbert or want to be close to saarbrücken. the hotel also offers a gym and the breakfast is very good.
if we want to eat well in St. ingbert, the golden star is a favorite for us. at our last visit, weren't all courts to have. this is a pity, but speaks for a fresh purchase. the food is very tasty, has pfiff, is not cheap, price- performance are in order. our absolute favorite is the fish soup. well we also like the option to choose from the card the dish in small or large portion. the personal is very friendly, especially the Spanish waiter, his colleague also, especially if you know him better.
I was on a Friday for the first time in the golden star for a lunch. the pseronal is extremely friendly and committed. I was surprised at the greeting of the kitchen, which consisted of a small suppe and a broth-span. as an appetizer I took a very fine salate with spasm and as a main course sollenfilet with kartoffeln. all very nicely served and tastefully very good. the dessert was a black forests cherry but served in the glass. a perfect menu that convinced. I can recommend the golden star
