After extensive renovation and new furnishing of most rooms (rooms, lobby, dining rooms, new hotel bar), this house is now a place where you can feel comfortable all around. Despite the new, ground-level (hotel) concept, the fireplace room still offers the usual exclusive ambience. The on average young service staff is very warm and accommodating and the dishes also know to delight at a fair price. See the heading. The service is super friendly and very attentive. The kitchen is not bad, but gives away potential. A well-known very reduced card is offered with few, very different dishes. It looks as if one had had been in the mind of the conception of higher levels, but would then have been in the gray reality. If one offers catch of the day as a fish dish and then is salmon fillet, the expectation generated is already a little damped. I had Gnocci with (just few) forest mushrooms, a rather fade affair. A little more sauce or butter, a little more spice would have done the dish well. Everything in everything is perfect, but not inspiring.
The restaurant is now exclusively located in the Westfalenstube, the much more beautiful fireplace room has always provided the necessary ambience. The kitchen understands beautiful decoration of the plates and excellent sauces to the meat, the meat itself and the supplements were maximum OK, but not a quality that would irritate us for a new visit. Here we had expected much better, especially because of the connected hotel business. The staff was still very friendly. Today, it is not absolutely recommended to continue without any chimney room.
For the first time spent an evening at the restaurant. Operation top, very attentive and refreshing friendly. The food is very good. The portions are plentiful and the passage of salad despite division on two people we could have saved ourselves from the crowd. The gang would have served with appetizer as the main course. A birthday breakfast we enjoyed here in a closed company. We were delighted to have a separate room with historical paintings and furniture, as well as a rich buffet with various dishes, many for vegetarians. A great performance, definitely recommended

Great food and very friendly service. We ate 3x and apart from a dessert (PanaCotta tasted unfortunately after nothing) the food was good. If you are not fed, there is a supplement here I would eat again at any time.
Very nice people and a good kitchen. The ambience of the location: inside Burgromantik, outside the small castle garden, everything quite undeveloped. It's great to celebrate.
