Had a bite to eat shortly before the Kaiserbad. The tarte flambée was probably the best I've ever had. The Caesar Salad was also seasoned just right and covered with some parmesan shavings. Being part of the golf club, the facilities are upscale, but the prices are normal. The staff was very attentive and child friendly. You also have a great view of the Wilder Kaiser. (I forgot to take a photo) Vegetarian options: There are bowls and salads. It's pretty rare in the area now. Kid-friendliness: Our little one slept on the bench and the other two were allowed to watch the tournament from the terrace. Parking: Plenty of on-site parking.
Nun ja, als Normal Urlauber und Nicht Golf Spieler habe ich das Restaurant aufgesucht. Alle Speisen waren übersalzen, was bei der Preiskategorie erstaunlich war. In Nachhinein ärgere ich mich, dass ich nicht diese Essen Speisen meiner Frau ebenfalls) direkt reklamiert habe. Als Ausgleich nach der nachträglichen Bemerkung zu diesem Mangel gab es dann einen zugegebenermassen) guten Grappa, Nein, das habe ich nicht erwartet, dafür war die Enttäuschungen zu gross, bei diesen Preisen, die für dieses Essen verlangt werden. Ich zahle gerne angemessene Preise, dafür will ich aber etwas geboten bekommen. Das war hier leider nicht der Fall.
The food is 5 star but the service was cold and rather aloof. We have been a group of 7 people. We belong to the normal vacationers. Almost at the same time, another group arrived and were warmly welcomed. Here, of course, the good wine and champagne were ordered right away. When we wanted to pay later, they didn't ask whether they were separate or together. The bill was given to us without comment. No goodbye, no smile. One noticed that the gentlemen at the next table preferred their full attention.
