We both enjoyed the delicious vegetable hash with perfectly poached eggs. I would also recommend trying their thick bacon on the side. The pumpkin pancakes were average, but the pecans were too salty for our liking. The restaurant roasts their own coffee beans, but uses a fully automatic espresso machine, which takes away from the craft experience in my opinion. Perhaps it's due to a shortage of baristas in the area, leading to the choice for consistency. The Americano and coffee were slightly bitter with an aftertaste. The food and drinks were ok. The server was friendly. She didn’t tell us anything about a “split plate fee”. They charged us $16 in fees for the 2 of us. The only reason why I noticed it was when I snapped my receipt for fetch. Otherwise I would have definitely mentioned it if I saw it at the restaurant. It’s not like we ordered one meal and sat talking for hours. We both ordered food and 3 drinks and asked for a plate so we could try everything. Will not be returning.
