Goodwood in Frankfort, KY is a favorite place to stop in to get a great bite to eat and a few drinks. The food is amazing and the views of the city and water stand alone. I suggest The Waylon burger which is so good but if your a vegetarian then I suggest The Grazer burger which is black beans instead of hamburger but is still great and filling. The service is always great with very friendly staff and the bar selection of liquors is some of the best I have seen. A great place to get a bite to eat while enjoying the distilleries in the Frankfort area. There 's a beautiful outdoor patio to enjoy the river views and the indoors has a fun atmosphere too. Find street parking or there 's a large municipal free parking lot 1/2 a block away (drop off anyone who can 't manipulate uneven surfaces and an incline). Delicious beer on a hot summer day! We enjoyed a salad and the special of the day which was a Jam Swiss burger with chips. Delicious!Parking: The municipal parking lot is down the hill. Drop off anyone in your party who may have difficulties with the incline or uneven surfaces.
What a fantastic spot by the river! The menu is great, but the bourbon selection is even better. They offer many sought-after options that are hard to find elsewhere. The flight of four half-ounce tastings was reasonably priced and truly enjoyable. Madison and the entire staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The weather was perfect, even though we did get a little drizzle before we finished our dessert. We highly recommend this place! Don’t miss the unique deep-fried cheesy cauliflower—delicious! Mmmmm.
I rated the service 3 stars, not because of our waitress—she was wonderful—but because we waited too long in the entryway while numerous staff members looked right at us without any acknowledgment. It would have been nice if someone could have at least said, "Hi there! We'll be with you shortly!" Additionally, we had to contend with yellow jackets on the patio, but the river view definitely made up for it, haha. The food was fantastic! I would definitely return. Book a table now
Delicious hamburgers (veggie for me) for my wife and me. Another couple had salmon and veggie burger along with grilled asparagus, broccoli, and crusted Brussels sprouts, all which they said was tasty. They service was attentive and friendly. This is definitely a restaurant I plan to return.
First time dining here. The food was ok. The fried green tomatoes were salty. The buffalo cauliflower was not cooked all the way through. The burger was cooked perfectly.Our server was awesome. She did a fantastic job.The Goodwood IPA was not too hoppy.The bathrooms were clean.
Great service, nice bar, food was amazing! Got the kale salad with salmon and it was legit a full piece of salmon. I thought was gona be bits like most places do. So delicious. Many drink options. Good prices.
I’ve been to the Goodwood in Louisville and now this one. I love that you can sit outside overlooking the river. Great food/beverage offerings. I was taken back a little with their fries. Give it a try! Book a table now
The fried foods had an unusual taste, possibly indicating that the frying oil needs to be changed. On the bright side, the wraps were quite good. I also appreciated the good service.
