We absolutely loved the hotel! The cathedral is directly across the street, and the castle is only a five-minute walk away. The toilet roll dispenser was impressively hygienic, and everything in the hotel was spacious and impeccably clean. Every time I passed by the old paintings and framed tapestries, I felt as though I were staying in a charming state house. The owners, May and her partner, had to work incredibly hard to keep the hotel running during the lockdown. Their neighboring business, Gordon's Fish and Chip Shop, is quite popular among people heading home after a night out. The only downside was the noise from the high street during the Rochester Castle Festival.
The place is very clean, and the room is nice with a comfortable bed. A friendly gentleman greeted me upon my arrival, making the check-in process easy. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area, especially since it's very close to the train station. The breakfast served in the room offers a good variety, and there are tea and coffee facilities available. Additional amenities include a safe, ironing board and iron, a fan for hot weather, and plenty of space for unpacking clothes. I will definitely stay here again.
honestly, the best experience for a night out! the hotel is located in the middle of the high street and coworkers where amazing and welcomed us. the decor has many mirrors so perfect for selfies and looks really nice. cozy beds and clean room with a massive shower for a great price. I couldn't blame it at all!
The rooms were fantastic—clean and comfortable, with everything she needed for a great stay. The large television, iron, ironing board, and comfortable bed made it ideal. She plans to return.

Lovely hotel on the High Street of picturesque Rochester. Superb room with a 4-poster bed and attractive Victorian green-tiled semi-circular fireplace. Very comfortable. Attentive staff.
