This place is great! I only wish it were closer to me. I live about 20—25 minutes away, but I passed this place over the weekend when I came to get a piece of furniture from a nearby business. It reminded me that i have been wanting to try this place so, I came back today with my sons after school. There is only counter seating and not a ton of it so go either at an off time, try to get a table outside, or just order pickup. This was my first visit, and I completely agree with the positive reviews. I tried the famous burger with slaw and BBQ sauce, and it was fantastic. I’ll definitely return next month when I'm back in Festus.
The smashburger and fries were very good and they were fairly priced. I see why locals kept recommending this place to me. I will certainly stop here again when I am in the area.

Gordon's is a classic and landmark for the twin cities for a reason. Great prices, amazing food, and nostalgia should all be expected when visiting.
