Gou Sushi is more than just your average sushi train. The food was all prepared to a high standard, each shining in its own way: Spicy Karage Chicken: this was perfectly fried, to retain moisture and had a great kick! Sashimi Platter: with...choice cuts of Salmon, Tuna, White Fish and Scallop, these were perfect cuts of fish, fatty and delicious! These were served with some fresh wasabi and ginger. Agedashi Tofu: fried silken tofu served with an umami tsuyu sauce! We were greeted by the lovely Fan who asked us about our food preferences and pointed out some of the popular dishes on the menu. She also suggested some awesome Sake choices, while also educating us on some of the finer points of...

Located just within walking distance from Central station, this Restaurant serves made-to-order Japanese cuisine on top of grab-and-enjoy plates from sushi train. We ordered several dishes from the menu and also several sushi plates for our dinner. All are so good! Everything is fresh, made...out of high quality ingredients and tasted delicious. My favourite dishes: soft shell crab tempura, lobster tail tempura, spicy karaage, ebi tempura roll and aburi sushi plate. Their dessert is delightful too black sesame ice cream and cheese spring roll). At time of writing they have lunch special $3.20 for all sushi plates). Sounds like a good deal to me.

This is a regular favourite of my partner's and last night I ate here for the first time with a friend. There is good mix on offer of ready dishes all freshly made making their way around the sushi train as well as the option...to menu order a series of dishes hot and cold which are made to your order. A board indicates the long list of fresh local seafood they use. Over all a delicious eating experience and everything tasted fresh. Favourites included the salmon sashimi, beef tataki and goyze. At less than $25 pp (including a non alcoholic drink), it is seriously good value. I will definitely come back.

near central station (on the elizabeth street page,) we happen to have. has been there several times since. eating is excellent and you can either take it from the train or order it from the menu that we regularly make...with their sashimi and Tempoura offers. they have a license, but are also byo if they so desire. service is good and attentive (but not obtrusiw.) a great place to meet with friends. their prices are very reasonable. highly recommended. see pix.
