Unfortunately the bad overshadowed the good and diluted the experience for us. 1) they charge you for tap water: beware! unless you want a nice surprise waiting on your bill 2) small portions: I ordered a dal makhani and palak paneer. The palak paneer came with rice, while the dal makhani came by itself. The dal makhani was almost the same price as palak paneer when you consider that the palak paneer comes with rice, and yet, the dal makhani was served in a desert size bowl. OMG where do I start on this? It was one of the best indian food place I have had outside India. I do travel a lot but haven't come across such a great indian restaurant anywhere outside India. The food, the presentation, the ambience, the service.. you name it and they have it. Specially our server Kenny (I also took picture with him so you can relate) was exceptional. His service was top notch and he took really good care of us while we where there. Wir haben nun schon zum vierten Mal hier gegessen und wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Das Restaurant ist sehr sauber, die Bedienung bis hin zum Chef sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und das Wichtigste, das Essen ist wunderbar. Man trifft auch immer indische Touristen im Restaurant, jedoch nur Individualreisende, was sicher ein gutes Zeichen ist. Alles in allem also sehr empfehlenswert für einen kulinarischen Abstecher, erstaunlich sind auch die durchaus vernünftigen Preise.
Visited this restaurant first a while back and it had good food. Now visited against recently and the quality, quantity, and service had dropped completely to a zero. The food was oily, overpriced, the portions were stupidly small for one person and the food tasted terrible. Felt like being robbed. Very disappointing. Dal makhani was like a shame, completely watery consistency.

The best Indian restaurant I have tried in Switzerland. The reception was excellent and the service was very fast. Students as follows. The tikka masala was very very delicious. Samosa is okay. Tandoori chicken was ok. The food is delicious but hot.
Gemütliche Atmosphäre und sehr leckeres Essen. Es gibt eine eigene vegane Karte mit drei Vorspeisen, mehreren Hauptgerichten und Beilagen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr bemüht und freundlich. Sehr empfehlenswert!
cozy atmosphere and very tasty eating. there is a vegan menu with three appetizers, several main dishes and supplements. the staff is very striving and friendly. highly recommended!
Very attentive, nice service, entertaining, funny waiter. Fine menus. Anyone who wants to eat *Indian* in Lucerne is very well served!!!
