I was truly excited to try one of the few remaining tea rooms in southeast Michigan. My bestie treated me to Afternoon Tea for my birthday. The atmosphere and decor were lovely, but I was surprised it was so empty. Regardless, we were ready to enjoy a lovely tea. I firstly have to say the service was impeccable. The tea (cinnamon orange spice) was amazing! After that, it 's about the food. Sadly, we were soooo disappointed. The spinach quiche was absolutely and completely tasteless (spinach was quite watery) and the bacon quiche was okay . Wonderful experience ! Great location, awesome food. A bit pricey, but totally worth it. Great experience for a mother, daughter outing. The Tearoom was very busy this afternoon. There was only one waitress, but she did an amazing job taking care of everyone. Quiche was a little too brown on top but very flavorful.
